A New start!

As many of you know, or may not know, Stroller Strides of Corpus Christi is under new ownership. Our fearless leader, Rebecca Haug and her family are headed to the big "D", and I mean Dallas (Weatherford to be exact) so she said a very sad good-bye to her Stroller Strides Family. I took over (Sara Bading) on October 1st, I hope that I can make Rebecca proud, AND continue to work my Corpus Christi Mamas into shape. I have been teaching classes 1-2 times a week for Rebecca since 2009 and am very excited to take on the challenge of being a Stroller Strides Fanchisee!
I am going to start doing a feature on our blog called "Mom of the Month". I figured this would be a nice way to showcase all the hard work these Moms do on a daily basis and show the world how fit and strong we really are.
This month we're kicking it off with a bang. October's Mom of the Month is Sarah Johnson!!!
Sarah is 5 weeks (she got the all clear from her OBGYN to start working out again) post-partum. Yes she's not only back to working out but did I mention she had TWINS, Camdyn and Delainey, 5 weeks ago. PLUS she has an 18 month old son name Cole. Sarah braved class this week sporting her new triple stroller but more impressive is that she made it to class ON TIME! If Sarah can get 3 babies under 2 up, fed and out the door to make it to class on time so can you! Sarah attended class about half on her pregnancy and delivered a few weeks early but was eager to get back to class and out of the house. I am so impressed that she's out there at 9:30 a.m. working out, pushing all that weight and still as happy and cheerful as the rest of us (even with her sleep deprivation)
Sarah you ROCK! You impressed a lot of us when we saw you show up to class on Monday as we all oohed and aahed over those sweet babies, and the awesome stroller you found to accommodate your needs. Keep up the good work, you truly are FIT FOR MOTHERHOOD!
